Who are we?Hi! I am Arvind Gopu, the maintainer of this website. My spouse Lavanya and I live in a nice little town called Bloomington in the state of Indiana. I am not quite comfortable referring to myself in third person, so I will continue to write in first person! I work as a Project Manager, representing Indiana University's Research Technologies division, for the One Degree Imager - Pipeline, Portal, and Archive (ODI-PPA) project. The PPA team is tasked with developing the computational pipeline to perform astronomy functions on ODI data, portal to let users access these tools and data archive. Our sub-team within IU leads the development of the portal, grid middleware, data and metadata sub-systems, so forth. Previously, I worked as a technical lead analyst ("Infrastructure Coordinator") for the Open Science Grid Operations group at Indiana University. Prior to that, I worked as a High Performance Computing (HPC) and Grid Software Analyst at IU. Before I started working full-time, I was a graduate student IU and got two masters degrees in Computer Science & Bioinformatics. Lavanya works as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) at Bloomington Hospital. Previously, she worked as a Registered Nurse (RN) at the same hospital. She took a break from working full-time, and completed her masters degree in Nursing (MS CNS) at the IUPUI School of Nursing. To get in touch with us, please check our contact details.
